What could be better than receiving more money just by holding shares in great companies?

February 2013 Dividend Income

This month, I received dividends from five companies totaling $106.00. Compared to this time last year, this represents a $106.00 increase in dividend income. Fabulous! My dividend income for the year now surpassed $500.00. That is $500.00 that I didn’t have to clock in to collect. Fantastic!

This month also included two dividend increases. The first increase was 2.27% year-over-year, from $0.44/qtr. to $0.45/qtr., from AT&T. The second increase was from Kinder Morgan Inc. for 2.78%, from $0.36/qtr. to $0.37/qtr., compared to last quarter. Kinder Morgan Inc. has increased their dividend nearly every quarter, so 2.78% is a nice little bump.
